Both the makers of the hit games "Titanfall 2" and "Rainbow Six: Siege" have said that they are more or less going to rely on microtransactions in order to fund new downloadable content (DLC) for their respective titles. Regardless, the former's first batch of DLCs will be released on Nov. 30, which will be free for those who have already pre-ordered the "Titanfall 2."

According to iTechPost, once the "Titanfall 2" DLC is released, players will have the chance to thoroughly enjoy the game's new maps as well as customized Titans, which can only be attributed to the new kits and other cosmetic options that can be purchased through the in-game store.

The new DLC — called "Angel City's Most Wanted" — will feature the titular Angel City map, and for those who were unfortunate enough not to pre-order the game, they will get to experience the DLC on Dec. 3 instead if they want to avail of the new game map.

Aside from the new multiplayer map, the upcoming DLC will also give out six new kits for each of the Titans in game, as well as a new execution and a Wingman Elite pistol for the pilots.

Thankfully, the DLC is free, but for those willing to spend a little more to add another layer of customization to their game, players can buy some camo, new skins, and Prime Titans from the game's store.

Meanwhile, the Metro UK reports that the Respawn Entertainment and EA Games are taking notes from other games' failures due to their expensive DLC packs. As such, while the profits from making paid DLCs could be lucrative, the developers understand that the consequences could be devastating, as it can fracture the game's community with those who paid for the DLC maps only being able to play with other people who have done the same.

"Titanfall 2" is now available for PC, PS4, and the Xbox One.
