Unlike its predecessor, the new "Titanfall 2" game will have an actual campaign, as was stated time and time again by Respawn Entertainment, the game developer behind the franchise.

As for those who are still not convinced about it, the company released a new single player trailer which highlights some of the game's narrative elements.

According to Cinema Blend, the original "Titanfall" game did have some story elements in it, and the information was only revealed through bits and pieces of dialogue when playing multiplayer mode. The dialogue contains an array of information that depicted the behind-the-scenes information for battles and the like.

This is still inadequate, as shared by most players' sentiments, and as such Respawn explicitly stated that the game will enable players to enjoy a completely stand-alone story mode, which fills the void when it comes to the world, its factions, as well as other myriad details that should finally give the entire series a sense of story and setting.

A lot of critics are not expecting a 20-hour long campaign, of course, but most are hopeful that the feature is a step in the right direction for the game.

Despite only being three minutes long, the trailer for "Titanfall 2" already showed a lot more information than what can be gleaned from the first game's entirety. As such, a lot of experts agree that once the game is launched, players should take the opportunity to jump right into the campaign first before anything else.

Meanwhile, Game Spot reports that some gamers are actually hesitating about buying the PC version of "Titanfall 2" as a beta period was not provided for the PC.

Regardless, a lot of players are wondering about how the game will do, especially when it gets released for both the PS4, Xbox One and the PC on Oct. 28.
