Despite its mediocre commercial success, Respawn Entertainment and EA Games announced that they still have a lot of plans ahead for the continuation of "Titanfall 2."

According to the game developers, there will be several new contents that will be released for the first-person shooter game between this month and June.

The road map for the upcoming contents of "Titanfall 2" is laid out on the game's official website. It includes two new general multiplayer maps, two additional Live Fire Maps, the introduction of two new purchasable Prime Titans named Ronin and Tone, and the introduction of a new Titan.

The game developers also mentioned that they will continue supporting the 2016-released game for the upcoming months with a new content and free trials, among others.

Just last week, Respawn revealed that they will be revealing the details about another DLC called "A Glitch in the Frontier" that will come out this month. This could be one of the upcoming contents that was mentioned in the latest Frontier New Network update for the game.

They also mentioned that they are planning to announce a lot of new updates in the coming days. "We'll be doing some new stuff with the Featured Mode tab in multiplayer. I can't get into details yet but towards the end of the month expect to see new stuff there outside of the normal modes as we'll be experimenting with a few things," the game developers stated.

Aside from the upcoming contents, the game developers also confirmed that they will be releasing several updates for "Titanfall 2" in the coming months. It will include the expanded Private Match setting that will come with added Live Fire and Coliseum to the game's selectable modes, the increase in Gen cap to 100, the introduction of a new Faction, and more Pilot executions.

The update will also come with additional refinements to the game's matchmaking mode such as estimated wait time and added purchasable cosmetic items like skins and camos.

At the moment, Respawn and EA are quiet about the actual release date of "Titanfall 2," but more details are expected to be released in the coming days.
