Titanfall Frontier's Edge DLC released

Fans eagerly awaiting Titanfall: Frontier's Edge can now play the game in Xbox One and PC.

The latest downloadable content (DLC) from Respawn Entertainment, which was announced last July 8, has already been released on July 31.

To date, no verified announcement has been made regarding the release of the aforementioned DLC in Xbox 360. However, some analysts speculate that the Xbox 360 version might be released a month following the Xbox One and PC upgrade.

Titanfall: Frontier's Edge is the second of the three scheduled Titanfall DLCs planned by Respawn Entertainment.

On May 15, the first Titanfall DLC was made available for the Xbox One and PC platforms. This DLC was called Expedition.

On June 17, users of the platform Xbox 360 was offered the Titanfall: Expedition DLC.

A new in-game market is offered to players of the Titanfall: Frontier's Edge. This is called the Black Market, in which gamers are provided the opportunity to purchase items, such as Titan Insignias and Burn Card Packs, using their in-game currency.

Various ways are available for players to earn credits to be used in the Black Market. These ways include successfully winning matches, completing required bouts, gaining the first victory of the day, finishing daily challenges posted, and selling of their burn cards. Players can also convert their experience points into credits upon reaching level higher than level 50.

However, David Shaver, the designer of Respawn, immediately clarified the fear of players that in-game currency might transition into another profitable market for the company.

Shaver guaranteed the gamers that the newly introduced in-game currency, as well as the institution of the Black Market, are not indicators that the company aims to use real world money. He assured players that real money will not be employed for anyone to gain "an edge in the game".
