Titanfall Expedition DLC release date; Third update to add custom load-outs, fix bugs [TRAILER VIDEO]

The Titanfall Expedition DLC is coming soon and here's a summary of what to expect.

IncGamers.come says the DLC is due out on 15 May and will bring custom load-out names and two dedicated custom load-outs per game mode.  The latter are unlocked after playing the game mode 5 times and then again after 10 times.

There will also be custom private match settings added to the private matches allowing the games to be adjusted for different tournaments in areas like the time and score limits, the pilot health and ammo, and the titan first build time.

Other additions make it easier to follow progress of play, such as a new trophy icon for each faction for every level that players have won, and two new scoreboard icons, one of which shows that a dead player's Auto-Titan is still alive and the other to show which players have successfully evacuated during the Epilogue.

For the PC version, changes will enable it to support refresh rates of 144 fps and speed up the audio installer set-up. There are also added bindings to mute players from the in-game scoreboard.

While the DLC is about to land to the Xbox One and PC, it seems Xbox 360 users will have to wait a little longer.  They won't be getting their hands on it until June.

EA said this in a statement: "Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360."
