Those who are hoping to see extensive character customization abilities in "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will not be happy about Ubisoft Massive's plans for the game.

The level of character customization that fans will experience in the upcoming open world tactical shooter video game is the same as that of "Tom Clancy's The Division."

This means that the modifications in "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will mostly have to do with cosmetics and the look of the character. Ubisoft, however, made sure to add different layers so players can modify their character in the way they want it to be in the game.

Speaking to Lazygamer, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" senior character artist Tom Isaksen said that Ubisoft worked to "give the player the freedom to have the look they want" and throw in every combination they want.

In "Ghost Recon: Wildlands," players can choose the outfit they want, of course, as well as the gender and the race they want for their Ghost to be.

In addition to that, they also have the ability to modify how they want their beard to look, the tattoos the character will sport, and the scars they have.

Isaksen also revealed that "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will also appeal to players who like to play alone as much as those who want to work with their fellow gamers in co-op missions.

The game will provide single-players with AI (Artificial Intelligence) teammates, but they will not get in the way. They can attend to commands and orders, and they can also revive the player.

On the multiplayer side of things, players won't have to worry about that as "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" offers over 100 missions. Isaksen said that everything players do in each of these missions will have an effect on the cartels the players are after.

As for the exploration in "Ghost Recon: Wildlands," players will enjoy a "quite seamless experience" in scouring the Bolivian setting of the game.

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will be released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 7, 2017.
