Ubisoft has released a new trailer for its upcoming tactical shooter "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands," showcasing new details ahead of its 2017 release.

In the new video, developer Ubisoft has showcased how characters and weapons can be customized in-game to suit player needs. In addition to the new trailer released at the recently-concluded 2016 Gamescom trade show, Ubisoft has also confirmed other details on its official website.

For the next "Ghost Recon" franchise installment, players will have the option to choose their own open-world uniforms, and select from at least 30 pattern variations including camos. The new player customization, dubbed as "Charactersmith," can be accessed at any moment in the game, and by unlocking some of the weapons and equipment during missions, can also switch loads even while on a mission.

Meanwhile, not only will characters be customized, but also their equipment and weapons load. It is also revealed that "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will have more than 50 customizable weapons to choose from. In addition, the characters are only limited to being male or female, and there are no classes between the Ghosts. This means that players can choose their own weapons and gears load, and any new weapons will be available to all as soon as they get unlocked in the course of the missions.

The new announcements also confirmed that aside from the regular assortment of weapons loads for the game such as sniper rifles, assault rifles, and secondary weapons like handguns, the new "Ghost Recon" title will also come out with Exotic weapons. Ubisoft chose to keep details for the new feature under wraps, and only teased that, Exotic weapons are also available, but you'll have to find them yourself!"

"Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is set to be released on March 7 next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
