Fans of "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" video game will be getting a third DLC this Aug. 2 as developer Ubisoft has unveiled the new "Operation Skull Rain" DLC where the game shifts its setting to Brazil. As reported by IGN, players with the Season Pass will have seven days exclusivity to two new characters in the series.

The first of the exclusive characters is Caveira, a female member of the Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais aka BOPE. Her main specialty is stealth and surveillance with a penchant for interrogation. The second character is Capitão, a gruff man who uses a special crossbow that fires bolts laced with poison to asphyxiate targets.

"Operation Skull Rain" will also unlock the Brazilian favela as a playable map and according to the report Ubisoft claims this will be their most destructible map yet.

A new HUD mode called Tactical Realism is also included and when this option is turned out it shuts off everything in the user interface except for the timer, gadget, compass and weapon panels. This forces players to focus on their communication as a team to determine enemy locations and strategy.

Ranked games will also include a new surrender mechanic but this is only going to be open prior to a match's third round. Transitioning from hip-fire to scope-sight or ADS has also been improved with a new angled grip motion. These are designed to create a smoother and faster-paced gameplay without causing inbalance in the core mechanics.

IGN points out that this is the third and likely the final DLC for "Rainbow Six Siege" following the launch of "Operation Dust Line" back in May and "Operation Black Ice" which came out as far back as February. The updates and DLCs have also implemented a means of permanently banning players caught cheating, a system also used in "The Division."
