Fans who have long been awaiting the official arrival of "Tom Clancy's The Division" now have a date to mark on their calendars.

The new open world role-playing game (RPG) will officially become available starting March 8 of next year, Gameranx reported.

Players have the option of getting just the game itself for $60 or they could also opt to get the more expensive Gold Edition for $100 and also receive some goodies.

Those who will be getting the Gold Edition will receive the game's season pass as well as a special National Guard Gear Set that they will be able to use inside "Tom Clancy's The Division."

Fans who will be pre-ordering "Tom Clancy's The Division" will also receive closed beta access for the game. A Hazmat Gear Set will also be provided to those who will be pre-ordering just the game itself, although they will be missing out on the season pass.

In related news, "Tom Clancy's The Division" is looking to separate itself from the pack by providing a slight twist when it comes to gameplay.

Interestingly enough, weather inside the game will have a discernible impact on gameplay.

For example, whenever there is a storm taking place inside "Tom Clancy's The Division," both the players and the non-player characters (NPCs) will be affected in that their vision will be impaired and the visibility will be significantly reduced, according to the game's official website.

If it's a particularly nasty storm, both the players and NPCs may even find that their aim is off, to the point that they may need to change their plan of action to deal with the conditions.

One way for players to handle the harsh weather conditions inside the game is to find a place indoors to stay in as they wait for the storm to pass and proceed with whatever mission it is that they may be undertaking.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" will be available for personal computer (PC), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
