Fans who would like to take part in "Tom Clancy's The Division" open beta this week can now download the client. The beta, which was first tested in January, got some new updates earlier this month in preparation for the open stress test this week. The beta opens on Thursday, Feb. 18, on Xbox One, and a day later on PC and PlayStation 4.

The open beta will be mostly made up of content that was previously offered in the closed beta, but with the addition of a new story mission for players to explore as they save the city. The mission is called Subway Morgue, and players will encounter a new faction called The Cleaners. In this mission, gamers have to explore a mass grave while trying to restore power to the city. They will also have to go on a rescue mission to find the missing engineer, Paul Rhodes.

The beta will also grant players access to another wing in the Base of Operation. According to Gamezone, the first upgrade to the Tech Wing is now available and a new skill can now be unlocked.

Numerous Dark Zone updates and improvements have been made to the beta, including new high-end weapons available in the Dark Zone. Non player enemies in the Dark Zone have also been significantly increased in numbers and have been slightly buffed. The update also removed some ropes that allowed players to reach areas that gave them an unfair advantage in the game.

Other changes include a new and improved tutorial video, which is available to view from the Character Select screen. The update also fixed two bugs that allowed players to become invisible to other players.

The download is around 27GB. Those who already have the closed beta client installed will only need to download a 1.6GB update. Those who participate will have the chance to unlock an exclusive reward at game launch.

The "Tom Clancy's The Division" open beta will take place from Feb. 18 to 21 on Xbox One and from Feb. 19 to 21 on PC and PS4. To preload the beta, go to the game's official website here.
