Players who have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the closed beta for "Tom Clancy's The Division" have some new information they can really sink into.

Thanks to one Reddit user, who goes by the username "Immortan_Joe9," and a FunStock Digital representative, fans may now have an idea of when the game's closed beta might actually start.

For those who may not know, FunStock Digital is in the business of handing out different kinds of game keys, according to Attack of the Fanboy, so they would likely have knowledge about the closed beta for "Tom Clancy's The Division."

The Reddit user goes directly for an immediate answer, asking when FunStockDigital might be able to acquire the guaranteed beta keys for the game.

In response, the FunStock Digital representative responds by revealing that they would be receiving and distributing the keys within the next two weeks. The representative then goes on to reveal that the closed beta for "Tom Clancy's The Division" would be starting on Jan.29.

The interaction can be seen here in a post shared by the Reddit user.

It's worth noting that Ubisoft has not announced a specific start date for the game's closed beta outside of early 2016, so the representative's revelations can hardly be considered as official.

Still, a Jan. 29 start date for the game's closed beta would put it firmly within that early 2016 range that Ubisoft has announced.

As iDigital Times pointed out, the rumored Jan. 29 start date for the closed beta of "Tom Clancy's The Division" would indicate that it would be taking place at the same time as PAX South, meaning some eager players may have to choose between the two.

With Ubisoft having not announced anything official, players will have no other option but to wait and see if the closed beta for "Tom Clancy's The Division" does indeed start on Jan. 29, or if the rumor will turn out to be a hoax.
