"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5," which is the first in 13 years, will finally slide its way to the Xbox One and PS4 tomorrow, Sept. 29. The latest iteration of the video game will also serve as the first ever installment from the series to hit the new-gen consoles.

Gamers will notice a massive upgrade on the visuals of the game, which will feature both single-player mode and multiplayer modes. In an interview with Gamespot, Josh Tsui, CEO of developer Robomodo, promised that it will be "a better-looking game," with a modern feel replacing the retro look.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" will run at 60 frames per seconds at 1080p resolution during the multiplayer mode, which will have room for 20 skaters per session. These participants can be gamers from across the globe. Players can invite their friends to join, too.

In this mode, gamers will need to finish cooperative and competitive missions in order to improve the skating skills of their characters. Speaking of which, players have 10 characters to choose from in "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5."

Apart from Hawk, gamers can skate as Nyjah Huston, Riley Hawk, Aaron "Jaws" Homoki, Lizzie Armanto, Leticia Bufoni, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Andrew Reynolds and Ishod Wair. Players can also create their own character, whom they can use in the game's two modes.

The gamers' ability to do customization extends to skateparks. The game offers 250 unique objects and environments that players can use to fashion a skating location the way they want it. Players can even share their custom designs with fellow gamers.

In the single-player mode of "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5," gamers will need to do some skate stunts and combinations with utmost precision while keeping their feet on the board as they navigate through the skatepark, successfully get past the obstacles and fulfill specific objectives.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" releases to the Xbox One and PS4 tomorrow, Sept. 29. Xbox 360 and PS3 players will have to wait until Nov. 10 to pick up the title.
