The fight against Neo Acacia is heating up. This week, it seems Toriko will have to go head-to-head with the big bad, and it is hinted that he may receive a power-up from his mysterious third demon appetite.

In last week's chapter, Midora has angrily begun an onslaught of his powerful attacks against Neo Acacia. He also received a number of injuries as well and has then shifted into defense. As Toriko pointed out, they can fight Neo Acacia with a number of physical attacks that have rage and anger behind them, instead of fear and despair, to truly pile up some damage on the creature. However, Midora also cautioned Toriko that physical attacks have a disadvantage. When Neo Acacia eats something — such as a part of their body — it doesn't regenerate even if they have the power to do so.

Meanwhile, as they try to think of a way to fight and defeat Neo Acacia, Midora noted that all of his attacks from the start have rage and anger in them. Even if Neo Acacia is more powerful, Midora said he is not afraid. He then quipped that the only time he has shown fear was when he realized that Toriko has more than one appetite demon inside him, and one of them is much more powerful than Midora is.

This leads to speculations that Toriko's third demon, the mysterious winged appetite demon, will finally show itself during Toriko's fight against Neo Acacia. Although Toriko has already gained control of his first appetite demon, the red ogre, and even though he's fighting on par with the big bad, Toriko still needs more power-ups in order to truly defeat Neo Acacia. Moreover, it is likely that Toriko will get to control his second demon, the blue oni, during the fight, before the third mysterious demon appears.
