A former All-Star center, Dwight Howard, is now finding himself in a very familiar place as of late, the trade rumor mill, and this time his destination is to the Toronto Raptors.

Recent reports by basketball writer Chirs Sheridan state that Howard is unhappy with his situation with the Rockets, and even if Howard already denied that, Sheridan stood by his report and said he is not lying.

If Howard's game will be the basis of how pleased he is with the Rockets, then it will show you that he might be having a fine time with the team, unlike what the reports mentioned.

The 30-year-old is averaging 13.9 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.6 blocks, and one steal in 32.7 minutes of action per contest.

These numbers, especially in scoring, are lower than his averages when he was the most dominant center in the league, but they are excellent stats for an aging big man.

Howard started the season slow but recently have picked up his game, sharing the paint with budding center Clint Capela.

Despite Howard thriving as of late, NVO News mentioned in its report that the center is still unhappy with the Rockets and once the season is done might opt out of his contract.

The possible destination is a return to the Eastern Conference with one of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) young team, the Toronto Raptors.

Toronto is one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference and is full of explosive players, but according to the report does not have a veteran big man that can be efficient in both ends of the floor.

The Raptors have centers Jonas Valanciunas, Lucas Nogueira, and Bismack Biyombo, all are young and despite the playing ability, have not really established themselves yet in the NBA.

Howard's arrival might be the boost the Raptors need to become serious title contenders with him also having the chance to re-establish his dominance in the league.
