The much-awaited campaign pack for "Total War: WARHAMMER" — "Rise of the Tomb Kings" — has finally been launched and is now available in both the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaign, along with new free Skaven Legendary Lord Tretch Craventail.

"Rise of the Tomb Kings" comes with downloadable contents (DLC) including the Egyptian-inspired Tomb Kings, a race and four factions, as well as new race, Tomb Kings, four factions, and new campaign mechanics. The players' goal is to collect special legendary tomes that will upgrade one's armies, allowing one the ability to resurrect soldiers in groups. Watch the latest trailer for the game below.

According to Steam, the  game revolves around the theme of the undead. Nehekhara, a once living empire now more commonly known as "Tomb Kings" needs to find the nine-cursed book of the necromancer Nagash who has destroyed the empire. Players must either make use of or fend off armies of skeletal warriors.

The DLC will contain four legendary lords — Settra the Imperishable, High Queen Khalida, Grand Hierophant, and Arkhan the Black. Players of the "Rise of the Tomb Kings" will be able to play the campaign pack in both the Eye of the Vortex campaign and Mortal Empires. The "Tomb Kings," however, will not be fighting for control of the Vortex. Rather, they will be seeking the nine cursed books of Nagash, of which each has a campaign bonus to help players advance in the game.

According to PC Gamer, Tretch is a new legendary lord who happens to be the Chieftain of Clan Rictus. He has the ability to grant his armies bonuses whenever discord between clans happen and war arises.
