The fifth installment in the "Transformers" film franchise continues its production while set photos of the cast in London surface online.

In the images captured by industry followers, it is revealed that the story will take an explosive turn in the United Kingdom, as some of the scenes capture smoke and fire right in front of Alnwick Castle in Northern England. The images also highlighted lead star Mark Wahlberg, back in his role as inventor Cade Yeager. With the main star roughened up — accentuated by the holes in the gray T-shirt and layers of dirt — the upcoming film is looking to be a signature Michael Bay installment.

Also included in the set photos is Sir Anthony Hopkins. Though it remains unclear what role he will play in the movie, speculations suggest that Sir Hopkins will take on the role of "The Creator," who will be closely tied to Optimus Prime and most likely also holds the key to the origins of the Transformers.

Meanwhile, although producer Paramount has yet to come out with official details on the film, it is already confirmed that the upcoming installment will be dubbed as "Transformers: The Last Knight." According to speculations, the film will closely tie into the events in the last movie, with Optimus Prime traveling to Cybertron. This means that the Transformers' home world will be a prominent figure in the film instead of just being featured in flashbacks and cameos in the previous installments.

However, with Wahlberg and the rest of the cast filming in the UK, it is fairly certain that the action will go back to Earth. Rumor has it that Optimus Prime will find Cybertron already a dead planet, and in order to resurrect it, will have to find an artifact back on Earth. He will most likely travel back and ask for Yeager's help in locating the artifact, and the two will connect with Sir Hopkins to find it.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is scheduled for release on June 23, 2017.
