"True Blood" fans are probably mourning the death of one of the favorite characters on the show killed off last week. The audience saw how shots at the back and on the neck took the life of the werewolf Alcide during the massive shoot out.
The third episode of the "True Blood" season 7 was probably one of the most heartbreaking episodes for its loyal followers. Alcide tried to track Sookie after the latter went missing. However, he lost her scent at Bill's mansion. Sookie planned to be a bait to gather all of the H-Vamps in one place, but Alcide was caught in the crossfire.
For the next episode, Sookie may avenge the death of Alcide as she decided to step up and take the lead in the battle against the infected vampires. She enlisted the help of other vampires and humans.
The following is the synopsis of episode 4, "Death is Not the End":
"In the aftermath of yet another bloodbath, Sam (Sam Trammell), Sookie and Jason find themselves the bearers of bad news in Bon Temps and beyond. Pam recalls the events that led her and Eric to Shreveport and Fangtasia. Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) get nourishment from unexpected sources. Following a new lead, Sookie enlists a band of vampires and humans to track down the H-Vamps."
Meanwhile, actor Joe Manganiello talked about the death of his character and said that he expected the imminent death of his character. He explained that the storyline is following Sookie to settle with the vampire guys.
Meanwhile, when asked about his opinion if Sookie will transform him to be a vampire, the actor said that Alcide will not like that. "Alcide would probably shoot himself in the head if he came back as a vampire. Vampires and werewolves hate each other, so for him to lose his werewolf powers and come back as a vampire ... I think she did the right thing," he said.
