"Tyranny," the new RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and publisher Paradox Interactive, will be launching this coming November. Preorders for all versions of the game are currently available, and there are three different versions available.

"Tyranny" will be Obsidian's follow-up after their highly successful RPG, "Pillars of Eternity." However, the game is not a sequel, and instead, it is set in a different fantasy world where evil managed to win and destroy most of the world. It will still utilize much of the same gameplay mechanics that were introduced in "Pillars of Eternity" and its DLC expansions.

One of the newest systems added is the spell-craft mechanic. This will allow players to customize their spells in ways that were not possible in the original "Pillars of Eternity" and older Western RPGs, such as "Baldur's Gate" and "Neverwinter Nights." This will be different from the traditional system of just learning or picking up spells.

The first main edition being offered is the Commander Edition, which will cost $45. The second version is the Archon Edition, which will cost $60, and the final one is the Overlord Edition, which will cost $80. All three versions will come with the base game and digital bonus content. Other bonuses include the art book, soundtrack, ringtones, and forum avatars and icons.

According to Gamespot, a brand new trailer has also been launched to showcase the gameplay and some of the game's new assets, like the graphics and music. Unfortunately, it does not give any further detail of what the story is going to be.

"Tyranny" is going to be available solely for the PC and for Linux. There are no announcements indicating that it is going to be available for consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. "Pillars of Eternity" was not made available for consoles despite similar games like "Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition" and "The Banner Saga" shifting to consoles.

"Tyranny" is set to launch on Nov. 10.
