Evangelicals have warned time and again that it is dangerous to pass anti-discrimination bills, saying allowing people to use bathrooms based on their gender identity would set a dangerous precedent. They say such a legislation would expose innocent women to sexual harassment and other forms of abuse.

This has already happened in Seattle where a man got naked in a female locker room. When women reported the incident to the staff, they confronted the man but he answered back: "The law has changed and I have a right to be here."

This has gotten Christian radio host Michael Brown very upset. "To put it simply, you are guaranteeing trouble when you effectively make public bathrooms and locker rooms gender neutral. It is an experiment in social madness, and it is completely without justification, no matter how much we care about men and women who struggle with gender identity issues," he writes in an article for The Christian Post.

He says the anti-discrimination law did not even consider the needs of women and children, who will feel uncomfortable when a biological male enters their bathroom or locker room.

Brown says the new legislation virtually serves as a key that allows "heterosexual predators" to enter ladies' rooms, just as long as they claim to be women.

Commenting on the same subject, Rev. Franklin Graham says he can't help but shake his head at the action taken by Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts and the City Council members who voted recently to pass an ordinance allowing people to use the bathroom of their choice.

"It's really hard to believe that such a ludicrous law would even be seriously considered," he writes on his Facebook page. "Are people just not thinking clearly? This law would allow pedophiles, perverts, and predators into women's bathrooms. This is wicked and it's filthy. To think that my granddaughters could go into a restroom and a man be in there exposing himself....what are we setting our children and grandchildren up for? There's not a public restroom in Charlotte that would be safe!"

Graham warns Americans that more anti-discrimination laws are coming. He advises them to "be on guard, and fight against them."
