The 2014 U.S. Figure Skating Championships is taking place tonight from Boston, Mass.

Results of tonight's performance at the championships will help determine the top skaters to be chosen to become America's golden figure-skating team in the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Favorites to make the ladies' team tonight are Gracie Gold, 18, and Ashley Wagner, 22. Other competitors include Christina Gao and Agnes Zawadzki, both 19-years-old.

Gracie Gold wowed the crowd on Thursday night with a perfect performance full of big jumps, triple lutz and triple toes. Her performance will be among the highlights of the night, as she is expected to win the gold medal.

Ashley Wagner is the 2012 and 2013 U.S. national champion. She ranked fourth in the World Championships in 2012.

The 2014 U.S. Olympic skating team will be announced on Sunday afternoon. The members will be chosen based on their results over the past year.
