Ubisoft continues to provide its consumers with free games each month to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.

With October already over, the company has now unveiled the next free game for its customers for the month of November. The latest free game Uplay users can download this month is the quirky stand-alone comedy shooter video game, "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon."

The game itself was originally released back in 2013. It was meant to be a stand-alone video game that expands upon the premise of "Far Cry 3," which was released a year before it. However, far from being a serious expansion to the game, "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" was developed to be a parody of sorts that featured some retro-futuristic themes which paid homage to1980s action films and video game concepts.

The game contains some neon-lit elements which are mixed with synth-pop music that truly brings out that 80s retro nostalgia. Players who are familiar with the game can try to relive that nostalgia as they once again step into the shoes of the military cyborg officer, Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt.

To be able to access the free game, gamers would need to have Ubisoft's own digital distribution client — Uplay — installed on their gaming systems. Players would also need to have an active UPlay account to qualify. To get the game, members must visit the company's Ubi30 website and click on "Get the Game Now." "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" will become available to download and play on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

For the meantime, the website is still offering last month's free game — "Beyond Good & Evil" — so there is still time to grab last month's game.

Ubisoft's Ubi30 promotion will officially end in December. Previous games that were offered for free through the promotion includes titles such as "Rayman Origins," "Splinter Cell," and "The Crew."
