Players eager to see what "UFC 2" will be like will be glad to know that a closed beta for the game will be going online soon.

To be more specific, the closed beta for "UFC 2" will go online on Jan. 28, Polygon reported.

The game's closed beta will be available for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Players interested in participating in the upcoming closed beta test will have to fulfill a few requirements to become eligible to receive the entry code needed for it.

First off, players must already have the first "UFC" game from EA Sports in order to qualify.

Next, interested players also need to live inside North America in order to gain access to the closed beta.

Players who also want to participate in the "UFC 2" closed beta should have opted to receive emails from EA, GameSpot reported.

Players who can fulfill all the aforementioned requirements can then head on over to the game's official website to register for the closed beta. Players must also have successfully registered for the closed beta prior to 10 a.m. PST on Jan. 21 if they want to get those coveted entry codes.

Unfortunately, even after fulfilling all the requirements and registering ahead of the deadline, players are still not guaranteed entry into the "UFC 2" closed beta, so they will be needing a bit of luck as well.

For those fortunate players who will be granted entry, they will be able to try out four different modes during the closed beta.

The four modes will include Quick Fight, UFC Ultimate Team, and Practice as well as some Skill Challenges that basically act as "UFC 2's" minigame offerings.

The "UFC 2" closed beta will end on Feb. 4, although the exact time it will end will depend upon the platform being used and the region the participant belongs to.

"UFC 2" is expected to be released on March 15.
