CM Punk will be one of the fighters included in "UFC 2's" roster.

News of CM Punk being included in the game may come as bit of a surprise to some fight fans, especially since he has yet to actually take part in a single fight as a professional mixed martial artist, What Culture reported.

Since CM Punk has yet to fight in the UFC, some fans are now wondering exactly what kind of moveset he will feature in the game.

To this point, CM is arguably more known for his work as a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar as opposed to being a professional mixed martial arts fighter, and that crossover appeal could make him one of the more talked about characters inside "UFC 2."

Still, even if some fans are not exactly all that excited about the inclusion of CM Punk inside "UFC 2," they may still be pleased to find that out that the upcoming game will be featuring a significantly larger roster than its predecessor.

According to MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn, "UFC 2" may end up featuring more than 250 playable characters upon launch and even more additional fighters added to the game later on as downloadable content (DLC). That roster size would be significantly larger than the one featured in the most recent UFC game which featured around 120 different fighters.

Aside from the larger roster, Bohn also touched on some of the new features included in "UFC 2."

One new addition, known as Event mode, will allow players to construct their own fight cards within the game.

Players will also be given the opportunity to create teams of their own via the new UFC Ultimate Team feature.

"UFC 2" is also expected to feature better knockout animations along with several other gameplay improvements.

No exact release date has been confirmed for "UFC 2," although the game is expected to hit stores sometime in the spring of next year.
