'UFC 2': CM Punk will likely have the lowest rating

CM Punk will not be a powerhouse inside "UFC 2," or at least not right from day one.

In a recent Twitch livestream for "UFC 2," the game's creative director Brian Hayes confirmed that CM Punk would indeed have one of the lowest ratings in the game, if not the worst one.

"I'm pretty sure CM Punk, when the game locks in, is going to have the lowest overall rating in the game," said Hayes.

This bit of news should be reassuring to some fans who are looking to get "UFC 2."

According to Attack of the Fanboy, some fans were not happy when they saw that CM Punk was given a rating of 85 inside the game despite the fact that he had yet to compete even once inside the UFC.

In response, the game's developers indicated that the 85 rating was just a placeholder, and it now appears as though they have made the necessary adjustments.

While CM Punk may have the lowest rating in the game when "UFC 2" is first released, that does not mean that he cannot attain a higher score later on.

According to Hayes, there's a chance that CM Punk's rating could still be bumped up, especially if he performs well during his first fight.

Still, with no fight even officially announced for CM Punk, it may be a while before the former WWE Superstar can do something to change his low rating.

Aside from CM Punk, there were other fighter ratings that were revealed during the livestream, Fox Sports reported.

Some of the fighters whose ratings are now known include UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler checking in at an impressive 93, while top contender Rory MacDonald also manages to land an impressive score of 92.

It's unclear if the newly revealed ratings will carry over into the launch day version of "UFC 2" or if they are still subject to change.

"UFC 2" will be released on March 15.
