EA Sports has now revealed more about what fans can expect from "UFC 2."

A trailer released for the game gives fans an idea of what they can expect from "UFC 2" when it is officially released. The new trailer promises to address some of the aspects of the earlier "UFC" game that fans were not completely satisfied with.

First off, the trailer reveals that the physics will be re-worked even further to more accurately depict exactly what takes place during the course of a mixed martial arts fight.

The trailer also indicates that "UFC 2" will feature a much-improved knockout system, although exactly how the game's developers might approach this aspect of the game was not specified.

Another interesting part of the trailer is the revelation that "UFC 2" will be adding new online and offline features that will be designed to improve the overall experience of playing the game. The trailer does not elaborate on what some of these features will be, but a still image isolated by Polygon reveals that there might be a new Ultimate Team mode for players to look forward to.

The trailer also promises better fighter animations to further capture the experience of not just taking a self-made character to the top, but also to truly get an accurate representation of the fighting style and even the trademark movements of some of the finest octagon warriors in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

At this point, an official release date for "UFC 2" has yet to be announced.

According to Gamespot, the only thing known so far is that "UFC 2" will be released in the spring of 2016.

The spring window opens up the calendar a bit more for EA, and could even lend itself to the possibility of the game's release being paired up along with a big UFC pay-per-view.

Fans will simply have to wait a little longer to learn when exactly they can step into the new and improved virtual octagon.
