Undefeated UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman successfully defended his title at UFC 187 last May 23 and two days after the fight met a fellow undefeated champion in boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Weidman tweeted a photo of him and Mayweather who is also coming off a huge victory against pound-for-pound rival Manny Pacquiao in the fight dubbed as the "Fight of the Century."

Mixed martial arts journalist Ariel Helwani had Weidman on the phone on the latest episode of the podcast show "MMA Hour" and the middleweight kingpin discussed his meeting with Mayweather.

"We were both at the same pool party. So we ended up getting together, hanging out, I talked to him, he gave me some advice," Weidman said.

According to SB Nation, Weidman decided to talk about business and Mayweather went directly to discussing about money.

"He's Floyd "Money" Mayweather for sure. I'm like 'hey how are you doing man, I have a lot of respect for you.' He was like 'aww, I made so far $125 million,' I was like, 'wow I didn't even ask you about that, but that's awesome,'" Weidman narrated in the interview.

"[Mayweather said] 'I own a private line of planes, I own everything.' I'm like,' that's awesome, I didn't ask you, but that's great to hear. I wish I had all that stuff,'" he added.

In a report by SB Nation, the 30-year-old UFC champion said Mayweather was the one who asked to meet him.

"We had a conversation, he was cool, he knew all about me. He sent Chuck Zito to come get me to come hang out with him, that's the way it went down. He was cool, it was a good experience. He's definitely a good guy to know," Weidman said.

"He's a pretty down to earth guy, he loves money, and he's as successful as you can possibly be as an athlete. I've got respect for him," he added.

Weidman will likely face Luke Rockhold or Jacare Souza for his next defense while Mayweather will be fighting for the last time this September with Amir Khan being a possible opponent.
