Paige VanZant is a fast rising star in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and much of her success is something she attributes to a regimen of dancing 25 hours per week.

VanZant, hailed by many as the eventual heir to current UFC women's champion Ronda Rousey, is 3–0 in the UFC scene. She last won over Alex Chambers via familiar submission hold (armbar) while also possessing an impressive striking attack, a combination that closely associates her with the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion.

VanZant was recently signed to a fresh pact, something expected considering the high regard that UFC President Dana White has for the 21-year-old fighter.

"She has all the attributes of a little rock star," he said. "She's got a great personality, she's absolutely relentless when she fights; she puts (Demetrious) 'Mighty Mouse' (Johnson) type pressure on fighters, and yesterday, she was the most searched fighter on UFC.com. People love her," he added.

VanZant is scheduled to face Joanne Calderwood on Dec. 10 at a UFC Fight Night event to be held in Las Vegas. She will be looking to keep her clean slate against Calderwood.

On the other side, Calderon will be looking to follow up her previous triumph over Cortney Casey back in July.

Among the techniques that VanZant likely does in preparation for the fight is her highly touted dance regimen. She gave her fans a glimpse of how she does it and by all indications, VanZant did show off some pretty nifty dance moves.

The practice is what VanZant points to as the reason behind her flexibility and stamina. Paired with her good looks, the Instagram post did draw some reactions, particularly when she strutted her stuff toward the end with her top off (wearing only a bra).

"It's exciting to headline my first main event with the UFC and it's a great opportunity for me," VanZant said in an interview with The LA Times. "I'm excited to see the headline, and am excited [about] starting [mixed martial arts] five years ago to headlining the Cosmo now," she added.
