Conor McGregor is not shy to speak his mind, even when he's miles away from an event.

After being named Fighter of the Year at the 2016 World MMA Awards in Las Vegas recently, "The Notorious" was still at it and stealing the show.

This time, it wasn't expletives hurled at his upcoming opponent at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 196, Rafael dos Anjos. Instead, the Irishman took a big swipe at his buddy Fabricio Werdum for pulling out of his scheduled match against replacement challenger Stipe Miocic.

McGregor's rant was contained in an acceptance video since he was busy preparing for his match with dos Anjos. It was in the video that he criticized Werdum for pulling out due to a "sore toe."

McGregor's rant is no different from the time that he criticized Jose Aldo for their supposed tiff at UFC 189. Aldo pulled out due to broken ribs which he sustained during training. Chad Mendes eventually took his place.

It was revealed, however, that McGregor was dealing with an injury himself. His knees weren't 100% and yet he opted to push through with the match.

Werdum responded via Instagram what he thought of McGregor's tirade and it will likely not end anytime soon. It makes one wonder if McGregor would one day face Werdum in the Octagon.

Regardless, Werdum is not exactly someone who loves McGregor. He took exception for dos Anjos during the UFC 197 press conference, saying he would have slapped the Irishman for the insults that he hurled at the calm and composed lightweight champion.

With Werdum somehow drawn into the mix, it will be interesting to see if these two would eventually cross paths at UFC 196. And if that happens, could chaos be far behind?

UFC 196 will happen next month, with McGregor aiming to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two different division titles simultaneously.
