UNashamed UK prepares youth of today for the kingdom of tomorrow

|PIC1|UNashamedUK is holding a concert in London this week to celebrate talented and unashamed young Christians in the UK.

The organisation aims to share the Gospel and love of Christ with those living outside of it whilst also encouraging and nurturing the gifts of those who have already given their hearts to Christ. Its primary focus is youth.

"There is a longing but also a lack of understanding that is often accompanied by a young person choosing to sell out for Christ," said a spokesperson for the organisation.

"Without the means of support, relationship and resources needed some choose to turn back to their old ways because they feel there is nothing Christ can do for them or they for Him.

"UNashamedUK is the helping hand, we are here to be a light just as we are called to be, to help discover the talents, gifts and possibilities that lay on the other side of fears and doubts."

The organisation hopes Saturday night's concert at the NTCG Charlton Tabernacle church will help those who have started a journey with Christ become a fully functioning part of His body.

The concert includes dance, singing, gospel hip hop and poetry.

"These are just a few of the areas that God has blessed our young people in and so we want to boldly present it as an act of thanks but also as encouragement to the young people who are still finding their role within their Christian walk," said the spokesperson.

Artists on the night include Dwayne Tryumf, award-winning artist Guvna B, Rachel Kerr, Tosin Peters, The Ambassadors, and Uniquely Poetic.

To help build relationships and fellowship between the young people turning out to watch the concert, food will be served by Christian food group Heaven's Kitchen.

UNashamedUK said it wanted to continue its work of "preparing the youth of today for the Kingdom of Tomorrow" well beyond the concert, through other programmes such as Financial Awareness for Kingdom Citizens, Poetry/Spoken word Open Mic Nights, and also by using the forums on its website, www.RUashamed.co.uk, to maintain the relationships they have built up with the youth.
