The next installment of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", a Netflix sitcom, is expected to be released by next summer.

But in an interview with creator Tina Fey at the Tribeca Film Festival, she said that the shooting might be pushed due to Ellie Kemper's pregnancy, who portrays the role of Kimberly "Kimmy" Cougar Schmidt.

"Normally we would start writing 'Kimmy Schmidt' in June. But this year we'll be starting in August and we'll start shooting in November. And we'll be ready to come back with season three by the end of next May," Tina Fey said. She also stated that thanks to Kemper's pregnancy they could work more on her "Mean Girls" musical adaptation.

She later admitted that during season 2, she was worried that Kemper would get pregnant but she said that Kemper waited until the shootings for the season are finished. She is expecting on August around the time season 3 would be written. Kemper will have two months to have some time with her new born child before starting to shoot again for the next installment.

In the question and answer portion, Tina Fey was asked about Kimmy's loss of innocence. She answered, "It's one of those things where you kind of rip that Band-aid off, you know? I mean, that's how I like to think of human sexuality. Like this scabbed-over thing."

She was then asked about a "Kimmy Schmidt" and "30 Rock" crossover to which she answered a possibility of the scenario and that it would be funny if Titus Andromedon would date D'Fwan of "30 Rock". She later said, "I would not put it past us to eat our own tail."

According to an article by theguardian, the show could possibly land another nomination in the Emmy for outstanding comedy series along with "Transparent", "Silicon Valley", "Veep", and "Modern Family".
