Fans that are anxiously waiting for the last chapter in hero Nathan Drake's journey will need to wait a bit longer. It has been confirmed that the release date for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" changed anew. This time, the upcoming adventure RPG will land on the PS4 in April next year.

According to Games Radar, the new release date for North America has been another setback in the number of delays for the title. Previously pushed back to be released in late March, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will now roll out on April 27 in the United States and April 29 in the U.K. The title was originally slated to release before 2015 ends.

Pushing back the release date anew has been a difficult decision for developer Naughty Dog. Writing on the official US PlayStation Blog, the game's creative director Neil Druckmann and game director Bruce Straley said that the development team needed more time to polish the game, "Uncharted 4" being the largest and most massive title that Naughty Dog created for the series.

The developers stated, "This is our largest 'Uncharted' game to date, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game's development in a timely manner. However, as we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game's levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line."

However, Naughty Dog also hinted that this maybe the last time that the release will be delayed, and that the April release dates are already set in stone. The post continued, "After carefully considering all of our options, we decided to extend our schedule, making sure that we get a few more polish passes before submitting our gold master (the final disc for manufacturing)."
