"Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" was officially announced last month, and apparently, publisher Naughty Dog still has an ace up its sleeves for the upcoming compendium. Recently, the company announced that a special edition bundle for the collection will also make its way across some territories.

According to the official announcement on the Sony PlayStation blog, the "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" Special Edition will be released in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on Oct. 7, and will be rolled out in the United Kingdom and Ireland the next day, Oct. 8. There are still no details on whether Sony will be including North America and Asia in a special edition release in the future.

Aside from the three previous "Uncharted" single multiplayer titles remastered in 1080p and 60fps features, the special edition of "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" will include real-world items such as a 48-page artbook titled "The Art of Uncharted Trilogy," with scenes and concept arts picked straight from "Drake's Fortune," "Among Thieves," and "Drake's Deception" storylines. In addition, the bundle will come with an intricately-patterned steelbook and game stickers. Much like the regular "The Nathan Drake Collection," it will also give players exclusive access to the multiplayer beta of the upcoming title "Uncharted 4."

"The Nathan Drake Collection" is a remastered compendium of previous "Uncharted" titles. All the titles under the release have additional new achievements to be unlocked, better gameplay, performance improvements, and run on 1080p graphics at 60fps. It will be released on Oct. 9 for the PlayStation 4, with pre-order bonuses such as the Nathan Drake Pack, complete with single-player skins and bonus choice weapons. Those who would pre-order the game digitally via the PlayStation Store will also get an "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" PS4 theme.
