According to a report from gaming site IGN, "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" will be released for the PlayStation 4 this Oct. 7 in Europe and will arrive on Oct 9. in North America.

The game was previously leaked when it popped up briefly on the PlayStation Store last June 4. Sony has since confirmed that the game is real and will be released this October to prepare gamers for the upcoming "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" which was delayed for an early 2016 release.

The collection will have all three previous "Uncharted" games: "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves," and "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception." Unfortunately, the PS Vita title "Uncharted: Golden Abyss" will not be a part of the PS4 anthology.

All of the games will receive visual upgrades which will allow them to run at a full 1080p graphics capable of running at 60 fps as well as better textures, lighting, and character models. A new photo mode will be implemented as well, allowing gamers to take snapshots of their game in action. There will be new achievements for gamers to unlock.

However, all three will be stripped of their multiplayer features.

Not all is lost, though, because the HD collection will come with the multiplayer beta of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." The specific launch date of the game's beta has not yet been announced by Sony or Naughty Dog.

According to the IGN report, the collection will be available in both physical and digital copies. Those who pre-order the collection will receive several in-game bonuses such as the Golden 92FS and the Golden AK-47 guns. Gamers who pre-order the digital copy via the PlayStation Store will also receive an "Uncharted" PS4 dynamic theme.

It is important to note that the collection is not being handled directly by Naughty Dog, the company that developed the games. Instead, the remaster is being handled by Bluepoint Games, the same team that did the Xbox 360 port of "Titanfall" as well as the PS3 HD remaster of "ICO" and "Shadow of the Colossus."
