Undertaker WWE 2015 news: Undertaker slated for more TV appearances?

The Undertaker is usually a WWE figure that makes occasional appearances, normally when Wrestlemania is around the corner. But for some reason, the Dead Man has been re-inserted back into the fray, dating back to WWE Battleground when he made a surprise appearance when Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins were vying for the WWE Heavyweight title.

By now everyone knows that the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will be pitted against each other at WWE SummerSlam, probably a rare scenario if you look back at recent years as far as his exposure in the WWE scene is concerned.

The primary reason (based on storylines) as to why the Undertaker has returned is that the Dead Man has had enough of the bellyaching of handler Paul Heyman and Lesnar in connection with Wrestlemania 30 event.

At that time it will be recalled that Lesnar and the Undertaker faced off and in the end, the Beast Incarnate handed Taker his first Wrestlemania defeat and eventually breaking the Dead Man's record.

No one expected the storyline to be appended until that sudden appearance at WWE Battleground. Undertaker was around at Wrestlemania 31 and went up against Bray Wyatt who he defeated.

With attention on the present day, many are wondering if their showdown at WWE SummerSlam will just be a one-nighter. According to sources, it may not be the case.

A report from PW Insider bares that the Undertaker will continue to appear after SummerSlam which could go as far as WWE Survivor Series. Hence, it looks like this storyline will carry on after the August 23, 2015 event which would mean that Lesnar will be kept off the WWE title picture.

Speaking of the WWE title, it was also announced at WWE RAW recently that Seth Rollins will be going up against John Cena in a winner-take-all match.

The thing here is that Cena's status is in question after suffering a broken nose at the hands of Rollins. The reigning US champion has been kept of regular shows as of late so it will be interesting to see if he will indeed be at WWE SummerSlam to face Rollins.

For Cena, SummerSlam is memorable. This is the same PPV last year where he lost the title to Brock Lesnar. Should he be cleared to return, he gets a chance to redeem himself and regain his WWE title.
