USA will play Colombia on Monday night in the Women's World Cup 2015 Round of 16 as both teams fight for a place in the quarter finals. Drama is sure to ramp up to new levels now that the knock out stages are underway, and although the United States may be favorites for today's game, Colombia should not be written off easily after pulling off the biggest upset of the group stages. Today's game has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET and takes place from the Commonwealth Stadium. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox Sports 1 network, or online through live stream via the link below.

The United States qualified from their group in top place, which was quite an achievement considering it was labeled this tournament's Group of Death. Despite their success, the USA team has been criticized in some quarters for not performing to their potential yet, putting on less than impressive displays through their first three games.

However, one of the signs of a potential World Cup winning team is the ability to win even when not playing at their best. The USA have got the job done so far, and results-wise the team will be very satisfied with how things have gone so far.

That said, today they come up against a Colombia team, who on paper should be considered big underdogs for today's game. However, in reality they have shown in this tournament already that they are a team not to be taken lightly, and are certainly capable of pulling off an upset if the United States are not at their best.

In the group stages, Colombia sent shock waves through the tournament by defeating France. Many had written off that Colombia win as a freak result and claimed France no longer deserved to be considered among one of the favorites for the tournament. However, since that result France have shown that they are not a team on the slide; they have scored nine goals in two massive wins since that defeat.

So Colombia took down one of the tournament's top teams fair and square, and for that fact alone the United States will know that they have got a big challenge on their hands tonight.

One area that USA will be hoping for improvement in is up front. So far they have looked distinctly lacking in firepower, and their front two pairing has been a concern.

However, with Alex Morgan playing for an hour against Nigeria, she looks like she could be getting back to her best, and if she can pair up with the likes of Sydney Leroux, Christen Press and Abby Wambach then they could start to see some better penetration in attack.

Colombia for their part will look to get among the USA players and upset the flow of their game as much as they can. If they can get to the half time point level then they will believe they can steal the game in the second half.
