In the next episode of "Van Helsing," Doc (Rukiya Bernard) and Axel Miller (Jonathan Scarfe) go on a journey to look for Vanessa Helsing (Kelly Overton).

The promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "Love Bites" was just released recently and showed Doc and the vampire Miller in the forest in search of the titular hero. He turned into a vampire last season when Doc abandoned him with a horde of vampires to save herself. Now, Miller believes that Vanessa may somehow be able to help him and perhaps turn him back into a human. It remains to be seen if they will be able to cross paths with Vanessa in the dreaded forest.

Meanwhile, Vanessa struggles to keep her daughter Dylan (Hannah Cheramy) alive and may have to make a horrific decision. They are both shown in the forest as Vanessa holds Dylan in her hands. Julius (Aleks Paunovic) is beside them and seemingly wants to help them. Viewers have yet to see whether Dylan will be saved.

In the last episode, Dylan escaped from Vanessa's clutches to get back to Rebecca (Laura Mennell) who turned her into a vampire. She encountered Julius who used her to try and get back in Rebecca's good graces. Vanessa was able to intercept Julius's path and fought with him to save Dylan. However, her daughter did not want to go with Vanessa and fought with her as well.

Unfortunately, Dylan received a hard punch from Julius and fell to the ground unconscious. Vanessa got up and jumped on Julius's back and bit him. Her bite apparently turned him back into a normal human. Vanessa went to her daughter's side to see if she was alright.

"Van Helsing" season 2 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on Syfy.
