In the next episode of "Van Helsing," Vanessa Helsing (Kelly Overton) comes face-to-face with the insane vampire Sam (Christopher Heyerdahl).

A sneak peek into the upcoming installment titled "Save Yourself" was just released and showed Helsing entering the abandoned auditorium to face the villainous Sam. She slowly walks in with her axe in hand while the vampire recites some gibberish behind the curtains. "Come out where I can see you. We are going to have fun. You and me," Helsing tells the deranged monster. Sam acknowledges her but does not come out at once. "Come out and fight me, you piece of s---!" she shouts at him impatiently. Sam rolls out a basketball towards her and says, "I'd rather play just like before." Apparently, he killed many people close to her including Susan (Hilary Jardine). Helsing gets mad and is ready to fight. She readies her axe as Sam emerges from the curtains.

All of a sudden, her companion Mike (Phil Burke) comes in and shoots at Sam who rushes towards him. Sam grabs his shot gun and is about to bite him when Helsing instinctively throws her axe at the vampire but misses him. Sam lets Mike go and mockingly tells her, "Catch me if you can." He escapes while the vampire huntress goes after him. It remains to be seen if they will fight each other to the death.

In the last episode, Helsing and Julius (Aleks Paunovic) got captured by skinners in the forests. They were about to be eaten but got saved by Mike and Chad Johnson (Donny Lucas). They were brought back to Camp Johnson, a stronghold of human survivors composed of kids who were trained to fight vampires with guns, knives, and crossbows.

"Van Helsing" season 2 episode 5 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. EDT on Syfy.
