The much-awaited Vanity Fair Hollywood issue cover became the talk of the town after netizens pointed out the Photoshop fails that happened on top of actor James Franco being digitally erased from the cover.

The cover, with the headline, "12 Extraordinary Stars, One Momentous Year," include the entertainment industry's "heavywights" Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hanks, Michael B. Jordan, Zendaya, Jessica Chastain, Claire Foy, Michael Shannon, Harrison Ford, Gal Gadot, and Robert De Niro. Vanity Fair's latest Hollywood issue became Twitter famous after netizens pointed out two Photoshop mishaps: Witherspoon has grown a third leg in the cover photo, while Winfrey has grown another hand in another image.

Witherspoon made fun of the editing fail by responding to a tweet saying: "Well...I guess everybody knows now...I have 3 legs. I hope you can still accept me for who I am (smiley face) and I will never apologize for snuggling @Oprah .. if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it;)"

Oprah joined Witherspoon by replying, "I accept your 3d leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand (3 clapping hands and a heart)."

The cover gained more attention online when it was confirmed that there was supposed to be 13 stars — the thirteenth being Franco. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Vanity Fair spokesperson stated that the magazine decided not to include Franco after they learned about the sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Such claims arose when Los Angeles Times published an article on Jan. 11 where five women who had previously worked with Franco accused him of sexual misconduct and abuse of power. These women also called him out on their social media accounts after he had expressed support for "Times Up," a movement that aims to combat sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry.

Franco denied the allegations during his appearances on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" and "Late Show With Seth Meyers." He has yet to issue an official statement regarding him being cut from the Hollywood cover. However, according to Entertainment Tonight, a source said that Franco is not feeling good and is struggling in the aftermath of the allegations and that his non-inclusion from the cover is a huge disappointment for him.
