The animosity between Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and his queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) seems to get deeper in the next episode of "Vikings" season 4.

In the trailer for the upcoming episode, Ragnar tells his wife that he will take his children with him during their planned raid in Paris. But Aslaug does not seem to be comfortable with the idea that his young boys will be out with their father during a dangerous battle.

The couple has been having disagreements for a while now, especially about how they raise their children. Aslaug has been secretly wanting to take over Ragnar's throne as the King of Kattegat, while he was having an affair with his wife's new servant named Yidu (Dianne Doan).

Meanwhile, Ragnar should also face the growing conflict between him and his brother Rollo (Clive Standen) as he prepares for his next attack on Paris.

At the end of season 3, Rollo betrayed his older brother when he accepted the offer of Emperor Charles (Lothaire Bluteau) of a large piece of land and his daughter Gisla's hand in marriage in exchange for protection. But Ragnar is determined to launch more attacks in Paris even if he has to fight his brother.

In the promo trailer for the episode, Ragnar and his men will be met with a flock of ships commanded by Rollo to prevent the Norsemen from entering the city. His ex-wife Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and their son Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) look worried upon seeing their opponents, but Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) does not seemed to be fazed.

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"Ragnar declares another raid on Paris at the Thing in Kattegat; Ecbert also has a journey in mind as he dispatches Aethelwulf and Alfred on a pilgrimage to Rome."

"Vikings" season 4 episode 6 airs Thursday, March 24, on History Channel.
