'Vikings' season 4: Episode titles leaked

History HD

"Vikings" season 4 is coming, and a report from Enstarz has leaked the titles of the season's first four episodes. While the titles don't say much, they do give some insight into what may occur during the first half of the season.

The premiere episode is titled "A Good Treason" and this is widely speculated to be a referrence to Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) facing punishment for his murder of Athelstan (George Blagden). This is also seen in the trailer when Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) calls for his people to rally against Floki for his betrayal.

"I order the arrest of Floki for the murder of Athelstan," Bjorn is heard commanding in the promo trailer right as the scene cuts to a group of Kattegat residents holding and restraining Floki.

It is speculated that Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) has given the authority to rule Kattegat to his wife Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) and his eldest son Bjorn. With that in mind, Bjorn's first move may be to avenge the death of Athelstan. Athelstan may have been a Christian living amongst Vikings but he was considered Ragnar's closest friend.

The title for the second episode, however, hints that things will not go smoothly. "Kill the Queen" indicates that Aslaug's life will be in danger, but given that she claims to be the daughter of the legendary dragon-slayer Sigurd and the shield-maiden Brynhildr it is very likely she will not go down without a fight.

Episode 3 is titled "Mercy," and according to Cross Map, this may be an indication of either Aslaug or Floki being spared. It is very likely that Floki will be the one to receive Mercy as he is the one shown in the trailers to be under Bjorn's jurisdiction.

Episode 4 is titled "Yol," reportedly a Turkish word that can mean "the road" or "the way" and this may be linked to further emphasis on Yidu (Diane Doan), a strange woman from the Far East. It may also be a referrence to events in England or in France.

"Vikings" season 4 premieres this Feb. 18.
