History channel's fourth season of "Vikings" is set to return to television on Feb. 18, and fans will be seeing more betrayal between characters.

According to Crossmap, main character Ragnar Lothbrok, who is played by Travis Flimmel, will be the victim of numerous traitors, such as Floki, Aslaug and even brother Frollo.

In season 4, it is revealed that Lothbrok's closest childhood friend Floki murdered Lothbrok's other close friend and former Christian monk Athelstan. With this revelation, the Viking ruler is torn between serving justice or saving the life of yet another friend.

Aslaug, Lothbrok's second wife, will also be set to betray Lothbrok in season 4. After she claims to be the daughter of famous warrior Valkyrie Brynhildr and the dragon slayer Sigurd, Aslaug is convinced that she deserves the throne and attempts to take the reigns from Ragnar.

Her fate is yet to be determined, but with rumours that this will be Flimmel's last season with "Vikings" and show creator Michael Hirst saying he is fine with seeing a Ragnar-less show, it is highly possible that Aslaug will be the one to take Lothbrok off his throne.

Also going against Lothbrok is his brother Rollo, who marries the Frankia royal Princess Gisla, which may create political strife between kingdoms forcing Rollo to go against his viking brothers as oath to marriage.

"Vikings" is a historical action-drama series that follows conquests and battles set in 13th Century Europe inspired by the sagas of Ragnar Lothbrok. The film has received positive feedback, garnering a score of 91 percent on the Rotten Tomatoes' Average Tomatometer.

The fourth season of the show will have twenty shows, four more additional to what was previously believed, with the first episode of the season airing on Feb. 18. The season will be cut up into two parts.
