The much-awaited trailer for "Vikings" season 4 has arrived and as expected, the clip made clear the betrayal, blood (buckets of it), the towering body count and the lack of brotherly love coming to the all-new season, all in just less than two minutes.

The center of the trailer, which was filled with both action and drama, was Ragnar and his brother Rollo, who betrayed the former and their people by siding with their rival Paris. It looks as if the show will be building up to this sure to be a bloodhound of a warfare.

"When my brother returns, everything will be decided here," Ragnar's voice can be heard in the background of the "Vikings" season 4 trailer, as scenes showing both warring camps prepare to go face to face were shown.

"Rollo, you have betrayed your own kind! Your brother is coming," one Viking warned the traitor, who, in the trailer, was urged not to return to his brother "for the sake of Paris" — something he seemed to have found no problem to oblige to.

Although rivalry is the most accentuated theme, "Vikings" season 4 will be bringing so much more on the table. Apart from the obvious tale of enmity that formed between the two brothers, Collider suggests that the new season will also bring mysticism and romance into play.

Collider notes that the trailer was a window to all that. It treated fans of the fantastical historical drama with a glimpse of what's to come but does not spell out the plot completely, making viewers further on tenterhooks for the new season.

"Vikings" season 4 will also see Bjorn step up to the plate in leading Kattegat to victory. "Nothing can stop us!" Bjorn declares, trying to instill it in the minds of the people in front of him. "And nothing can stand in our way," he announced.

Aslaug can also be seen playing with the possibility of succeeding Ragnar's throne in the event of his death. "Vikings" season 4 premieres at Feb. 18 at 10 p.m. ET on History Channel.
