Fresh new episodes of "Vikings" are right around the corner, and things will drastically change based on the teasers for the second half of season 4.

IGN released six mini trailers featuring the return of some of the show's major characters who were last seen during the midseason finale that aired on the History Channel back in April.

In one of the teasers for the next part of "Vikings" season 4, the fallen King of Kattegat, Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel), appeared to have aged drastically as he talks to his grown-up son, Ivar The Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen). Ragnar seems to encourage his crippled son to aim for something big. "Use your anger intelligently and I promise my son that one day the world will know and be around afraid to Ivar, the Boneless," Ragnar said in the teaser.

Another teaser showed a different Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård). The normally religious friend and shipbuilder of Ragnar will suddenly throw away his own beliefs about gods, saying that they do not actually exist. He will also claim that men are responsible for their destiny and not the gods.

Ragnar and his first wife, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), are also featured in another teaser for the second half of "Vikings" season 4. In their teaser, Ragnar appears to be asking forgiveness for his past mistakes.

Then, Lagertha and Ragnar's current wife, Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland), are also featured in the other teasers for the upcoming episodes. The two women appear to be in the middle of a power struggle to determine who among them has the right to be called the queen of Kattegat.

Zap2it revealed the synopsis for the upcoming midseason premiere of "Vikings" season 4, which reads: "Ragnar arrives home to see what has become of his sons; he makes plans to return to Wessex to right past wrongs but finds his closest allies have other plans; the Lothbrok sons refuse to join their father's mission, except for one."

History Channel will air the next episode of "Vikings" season 4 on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
