Vineyard's Vicky Beeching makes Debut Across the Atlantic

Vineyard UK worship leader Vicky Beeching recently released her a debut recording in the USA, The Journey, on Sparrow Records. The five song special, limited EP, consists of all self-penned songs which Beeching considers to be ‘markers’ of her life thus far.

“Yesterday, Today & Forever,” “Created To Worship,” “Stronger Than The Storm,” “Awesome God (Your Voice),” and “Above All Else,” were produced by Steve Hindalong (City on a Hill, writer of “God Of Wonders”) and Christopher Stevens (TobyMac, Shawn McDonald). The Journey limited EP, available at only select retail outlets, precedes a full-length project to be released in December. All five songs from The Journey EP will also be available as downloads on digital sites on June 28.

Vicky Beeching holds a Masters Degree in Theology from Oxford University and contributed to Vineyard Music albums “Hungry”, “Holy” and “Surrender” while maintaining her studies at the prestigious world renowned university.

Following graduation, Beeching recorded a solo EP with Kingsway Music, located in a small seaside town on the southern coast of England. Peter York, President of Nashville-based EMI CMG Label Group heard her lead worship at a Worship Together conference in San Diego, US and soon after, EMI CMG extended Beeching an invitation to join their impressive roster as the first-ever female worship leader from the UK, considering her an artist who could meet a unique need in the worship community.

Often compared to worship leaders like Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman, Beeching is making a much-needed impact on the landscape of modern worship as a young, female worship leader.

"I want to lead people into a closer and deeper revelation of God, whether they’ve known Him for years, or are coming face to face with Him for the first time," said Beeching. "This is my passion, and what I’ll spend my lifetime doing...Searching for new words to create songs of worship, and then getting out on the road and leading people into His presence."

Vicky Beeching will appear this summer at several festivals in the United States in conjunction with WorshipTogether.com, where she is a mainstay artist and host of the popular New Song Café. The popular website profiles songwriters introducing their worship songs, giving insight into the background of the songs, telling the behind-the-scenes story of how they were written, and demonstrating unique chord uses and arrangement ideas.

Worshiptogether.com will be featured live at a number of US festivals this summer, bringing their online resources to life with an on-site training conference for worship leaders, musicians and tech teams within the festival. Twice daily, attendees will have the choice of three distinct seminar streams, offering a rare and wonderful opportunity for worship leaders and musicians to come together for training and fellowship. Vicky Beeching will be actively involved in that training and fellowship.

US-based EMI CMG Label Group is comprised of the Forefront, Sparrow and worshiptogether labels and is a division of the EMI Christian Music Group. EMI Christian Music Group is the world's largest Christian music organisation and includes EMI CMG Distribution and EMI CMG Publishing in addition to EMI CMG Label Group. It is part of EMI Group, the world's largest independent music company whose other U.S. labels include Angel, Astralwerks, Blue Note, Capitol, Capitol Nashville, EMI Latin, Narada and Virgin Records.
