Fans of AMC's "The Walking Dead" finally caught a glimpse at the series' sixth season during the show's panel appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015. Series producers Scott M. Gimple, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero joined some of the cast members in launching the trailer. 

The four-minute video shows the tense air between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan (Lennie James). Rick seems to be bent on urging the residents of the Alexandria Safe Zone to stand up for themselves and prepare to face the dangers outside the gated community, but Morgan appears to be skeptical about his idea. 

Morgan feels that Rick is already going overboard now that the latter has been appointed by Alexandria leader Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) as the new community leader, and senses that his friend should be stopped before things get out of hand. 

"I know Rick. I can stop him," Morgan tells Deanna.

But toward the end of the trailer, Rick points a gun at Morgan's head and tells him, "Do you have any idea who you are talking to?" 

Will Rick's and Morgan's opposing morals really end their friendship this season? 

Meanwhile, the cast members present during the SDCC 2015 panel talked about how their characters will handle the new challenges in season 6. 

Actor Michael Cudlitz told the attendees that the survivors have to adjust from living a life on the road to a new life inside a safe haven.

Sonequa Martin-Green, on the other hand, described what the group has to face this season aside from the endless number of hungry zombies that are waiting to get their hands on them. According to the actress who portrays the role of Sasha in the series, the group has "gone from fighting to survive together... now they each have their own identities to create... their own separate space." She also said that her character is undergoing a stage in her life for restoration and healing after she resorted to low measures in the past. 

Meanwhile, fan favorite character Daryl is still unprepared to be a part of the Alexandria community this season. According to actor Norman Reedus, his character would still want to look beyond the gates to search for new relationships instead of staying put inside the Alexandria compound. 

"The Walking Dead" season 6 will premiere with more dangerous, gorier zombies on Sunday, Oct. 11.
