'The Walking Dead' season 5: Who's leaving the signs for Morgan?

The episode titled "Four Walls and A Roof" in the fifth season of "The Walking Dead" was one that kind of gave closure to some lingering questions. Not only did it give answers, Rick also gained new respect when he killed Gareth, just as he promised he would.

In the previous episode, the group from Terminus that was hunting down Rick's group was taken cared of, Michonne was finally reunited with her ultimate weapon — the katana — and there's the conclusive theory on who's leaving the symbols on the trees for Morgan.

Before Gareth died, he admitted that their group left marks on the trees to help them go back to Terminus.

He said, "You know we marked our way here, so that we could find our way back after."

It does make sense that they'd want to go back to their home after killing Rick's group.

However, Movie Pilot doubts that these are actually the symbols that were left for Morgan. According to the site, it may just be a way to trick the viewers into thinking that the symbols Gareth was talking about is the same ones that fans are trying to solve.

Movie Pilot explains that the symbols for Morgan are marked X inside a circle. However, the more recent symbols look like L-type marks, and all of these symbols have been seen in a timely manner. It was just right in the same timeline as when the hunters started hunting Rick's group.  So, what Gareth admitted to may not be related to the symbols left for Morgan.

Movie Pilot has another theory and the site thinks that it could be Rick who has been leaving the symbols for Morgan. One proof is that, if the hunters were leaving the signs, they'd carve it on the other side.

Well, surely, it will just be a couple more episodes of waiting to see who's been leaving the symbols behind for Morgan. But until then, thrill-seeking viewers can watch "The Walking Dead" season 5 every Sunday on AMC.
