The October premiere of "The Walking Dead" season 6 is still a few months away but a new report from Design Trend states that two new recurring characters will be introduced to fans of the show. One of the new characters is a cynical African-American named Delvin who calls humans "idiots" and the other is Tucker, a character who "values fairness." 

According to Cinema Blend, Delvin may be the show's version of Heath. In "The Walking Dead" comic books, Heath is a supply runner who initially distrusts Rick. After some time, the character becomes one of Glenn's closest friends. The only difference is that Heath is not a cynic in the comic series and he does not look down at people as "idiots." 

Cinema Blend continues to explain that Tucker may be the show's representation of Paul "Jesus" Monroe. In the original comic series, Jesus is one of the pacifist leaders of a group of survivors. They eventually fight and befriend Rick, particularly when the latter wages war against the villain Negan. 

Den of Geek also cites what series creator Robert Kirkman stated during the 2015 National Association of Broadcasters Show. Kirkman explained that they were working hard on making things "poignant and meaningful."

This was immediately followed up by actor Stephen Yeung, who stated, "So if it were time for Glenn to go, then it's probably going to be awesome." 

This would appear as a little hint at Glenn's death in season 6. Den of Geek surmises that the first half of the sixth season would depict Rick and the rest of the Alexandria Safe Zone fighting the Wolves and re-establishing their settlement before the rest of the season introduces Negan and his band called the Saviors. 

It is possible that season 6 would end with Negan killing Glenn, as was done in the source material, setting up the events for season 7?
