"Warcraft 4" remains a distinct possibility in terms of being the next game that Blizzard will be working on.

In an interview with IGN, "StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void" producer Tim Morten indicated that Blizzard's RTS team could go in any number of directions once the project they are currently working on has been completed.

This includes the possibility that "Warcraft 4" could be next on the docket.

According to Morten, the RTS team at Blizzard has been very happy to hear that there is still a lot of support and demand for the RTS titles they have made. He went on to say that once they have finally finished with "StarCraft II," they will be able to look at other possible projects.

Morten suggested that a new "Warcraft" game is not the only possibility, as Blizzard could also very well decide to make a third "StarCraft" title. What Morten did say is that if the team at Blizzard does indeed decide to go with a third "StarCraft" game, it is highly likely that it would be made up of an all new cast of characters.

Morten's comments are clearly far from being any kind of confirmation, although he does leave the door open for a lot of speculations.

With Morten's suggestion that Blizzard could be open to making either a new "Warcraft" or "StarCraft" title, Game Rant suggested that this represents the perfect opportunity for fans to speak up and let Blizzard know exactly what they want next. Blizzard may indeed just be waiting for fans to finally speak up before they take any further action, so that would make "Warcraft 4" a possibility at the very least.

Morten didn't go any farther other than to suggest Blizzard is open to making a new RTS game, so there could still be a long way to go before a new "Warcraft" or "StarCraft" game is announced.
