When Ubisoft finally launched "Watch Dogs 2," players were disappointed to figure out that something was wrong with the multiplayer component, with reports of several game crashes and lags. So it was a natural thing for everyone who bought it to hope that a patch or update will be released soon after in order to fix those errors. And while the "Watch Dogs 2" patch 1.04 was released, the unfortunate thing is it doesn't include the fixes for the multiplayer issues.

According to Ubisoft, in a recently published blog, the purpose of the patch was to fix previously known problems that emerged right after the launch of "Watch Dogs 2," but quite interestingly, the most notable issue was not included. And by the way, the fixes are all intended for the console versions since the PC version has not been made available as of this posting.

Because of the multiplayer errors, Ubisoft had no choice but to disable the component, especially after hundreds of players started complaining and filing reports about the crashes. However, it is expected that the game developer, Ubisoft Montreal, will be able to fix it the soonest possible time, considering how massive this game is based on sales projections.

The "Watch Dogs 2" 1.04 update includes the elimination of the sexually explicit non-player character, provides performance improvement on the recently released PlayStation 4 Pro game console, gets rid of the weapon wheels and emotes bugs, improved graphics for the "Limp Nudle" mission, and finally, fix the missing phone apps.

It still isn't sure when the fix for the multiplayer errors will come, but rest assured, Ubisoft will figure out a way to solve it considering how hard-pressed the company already is considering the hype built around this sequel to the 2014 video game, "Watch Dogs."

"Watch Dogs 2" is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be released to PC on Nov. 29.
