"Wentworth" finished its fourth season by killing off one of the show's main characters — Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack) — leading some fans to speculate that the new season might be packed with a plot full of vengeance for the death of the major character.

In "Wentworth" season 4, fans were left with a shocking twist when lead character Bea Smith passed away. Because of Bea's death, rumors are spreading that fellow inmates in "Wentworth" are out to get revenge on the fifth season of the show.

Actress Kate Jenkinson — who plays the romantic interest of Bea in the show, Allie Novak — hinted in an interview that "People are going to want revenge. Specific people (Allie). If you want to see justice for Bea, then watch season five." What's more is that rumors suggest that Allie will definitely be avenging Bea especially since she feels guilty about not being able to save Bea herself.

With vengeance as one of the main points of "Wentworth" season 5's plot, it is highly speculated that the upcoming season will contain more thrilling scenes than the previous seasons.

Another thing fans can also expect is a new lead that will take Bea's role. As of now, there's no news as to who will replace Bea's role as the top dog in prison, but rumors suggest that the perfect fit for the lead role would probably be Allie herself .

On another note, since Bea Smith passed away, rumors of fans boycotting the show are starting to spread around the internet, even giving rise to more rumors that suggest the cancellation of the show. Other speculations include Franky Doyle (Nicole da Silva) not returning to the show as well.

As of now, there are no official updates about "Wentworth's" official air date and cast for season 5, but if the show is to continue even without Bea Smith, "Wentworth" season 5 will be released sometime in 2017.
